The ASGCLA Web Presence Committee is charged to review the ASGCLA Direct website according to an agreed-upon timetable, working collaboratively with ASGCLA staff who will make changes to the website as necessary; solicit new and updated content for the ASGCLA Direct website from ASGCLA units, members, and staff to ensure that the website is timely, accurate, relevant, and complete; recommend strategies, policies, guidelines, and procedures to the ASGCLA Board as related to ASGCLA's web presence; and advocate for accessibility in the development and use of technology tools so that members of all abilities may use them.

Committee members must have an interest in the work of the committee; be able to attend Annual Conferences and Midwinter Meetings to participate in the meetings and activities of the committee; and be able to work between conferences via e-mail and ALA Connect.
