ALTAFF Elections
Bylaws Changes
ALTAFF members approved the proposed bylaws changes with 125 votes in favor of approval (86.8%) and 19 votes against (13.2%). The approved bylaws include two fundamental changes. The first ammended the title of the organization to include the words “Citizens for Libraries” to the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations.
The second change eliminated sections within the division. Since its new formation, ALTAFF has been operating solely by a division committee structure making the work outlined in the “Sections” portion of the existing bylaws redundant. This
elimination aligns our bylaws with our current streamlined practice.
