ALSC programs at ALA Annual Conference
Program organizers are strongly encouraged to read through and print the ALSC Program Planning Guide. This guide contains important information about organizer responsibilities, information due dates, and marketing your program.
The program organizer is the person who is listed as such on the accepted program proposal form. If there is a change in program organizers, please alert the ALSC office immediately.
Program title and description
Please use the final title and description form to submit your program's final information for the preliminary program guide which is published online by ALA. Changes to the title and description cannot be made after this point.
DUE: January 10, 2014
Please complete the program information form to alert ALSC to your final room set-up, equipment and audiovisual needs. This form is extremely important because it tells the ALSC office what equipment you need on the day of your program. Only ONE form should be submitted per program by the program organizer; multiple speakers in one program should not each submit their own form. Equipment cannot be added after the due date but can be deleted.

Please complete the speaker information form with all of the necessary information to ensure that your speakers are listed in the final print program guide. If you have more speakers than the form allows, please submit the form more than once. Additional speakers can be added after the initial submission (for example, you may submit the speakers you have confirmed now, and also submit an additional speaker a month from now).
ALL SPEAKERS ARE DUE: April 11, 2014
The ALSC office will make handouts for your program not to exceed four pages, double-sided, copied in black and white (copies can be put on colored paper). In efforts to be more environmentally friendly, ALSC has decreased the amount of printing prepared for conferences. Booklists, Power Point presentations and more extensive handouts should be put in ALA Connect and noted of their availability in program publicity. Instructions for adding information to ALA Connect are available in the above Program Planning Guide. Please email all handouts for duplication to the ALSC office.
