Online Day of Diversity Forum

To continue the conversation started at the Day of Diversity: Dialogue and Action in Children’s Literature and Library Programming event at the 2015 ALA Midwinter Meeting, the ALSC Board of Directors and ALSC President Ellen Riordan hosted an online Day of Diversity live chat on Tuesday, February 24, 2015
This live forum is part of ALSC's commitment to conversations on diversity and inclusion and the essential role that children’s librarian play to ensure rich and diverse collections and programming. For more on ALSC's next steps, please see this ALSC Blog post from February 6, 2015. 
This online forum was open to anyone, including ALSC members, non-members and anyone with an interest in youth library service.  The forum includes audio from ALSC President Ellen Riordan followed by a discussion led by Jamie Naidoo and Allie Bruce, co-chairs of the task force that put together the Day of Diversity at Midwinter.
