Electronic Discussion List Subscriptions/ How to Manage Your Lists
To manage your existing ALSC discussion list subscriptions and/or to subscribe to additional lists, you must set up a login and password in Sympa. Go to http://lists.ala.org and click on the "First login?" link on the left side of the page, fill in the requested information, and send. You will receive a login/password by e-mail. Then, you're ready to go!
To subscribe to any of ALSC's lists, go to http://lists.ala.org, login, and click on the ALSC link under the "ALA Divisions" heading. When the lists are displayed, click on the name of the list to which you'd like to join to access the list's main Web page. Then click on the "Subscribe" link on the left-hand side of the page. That's it!
To manage your elec disc lists (e.g. set digest mode, access list archives, unsubscribe, etc), follow the steps above to reach the main Web page for a particular list. There you will find helpful links such as: Subscriber Options, Unsubscribe, Archive, Post, etc.
