The "75 Years of the Caldecott Medal" scrapbook captured rarely seen moments and memorabilia from Caldecott history.
Caldecott celebration events were held during the ALSC National Institute in Indianapolis, September 2012, and at the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago, June 2013.

The Spring 2013 (Vol. 11, no. 1) issue of ALSC's journal, Children and Libraries, was dedicated to the Caldecott Award. It includes interviews with past winners (Wiesner and Selznick); articles about Randolph Caldecott himself, one editor's behind-the-scenes perspective of picturebook creation, banquet night reminiscences and photos, childhood photos of Caldecott winners, and much more.
