1999 Notable Children's Videos Committee: Marilyn Phillips, Chair, University City Public Library (MO); Angelina Benedetti, Newport Way Library (WA); Dr. Patricia Cianciolo, Michigan State University (MI); Jane Claes, John R. Good (TX); Maria McLane, Akron-Summit County Public Library (OH); Elizabeth Miller, University of South Carolina (SC); Susan Moore, Louisville Free Public Library (KY); Eleonor Putnam, Lake Otis School Library (AK); Flo Starkey, District Materials Center (NM); Irene Symons, Queens Borough Public Library (NY).

These titles are selected by the above committee of librarians and educators from across the country on the basis of their originality, creativity, and suitability for young children. The members select materials that respect both children's intelligence and imagination, exhibit venturesome creativity, and encourage the interests of users.
