Composition

The Electronic Resources Interest Group is led by two co-chairs who serve staggered one-year terms.

Subcommitees and Task Forces

The Electronic Resources Interest Group is led by two co-chairs who serve staggered one-year terms.

Origin

The group was a division-wide ALCTS standing committee that adopted the ALCTS interest group structure. An interest group maintains the committee's ability to produce programs and publications and combines that with the minimal structure and open forum concepts of a discussion group. Interest groups, which design their own structure to best fit their needs, may have a chair and other officers.

Get Involved

ALA values committed and active committee members. Qualified members are welcome to volunteer to serve on the Electronic Resources IG. Members must have an interest in the work of the group and be able to work between conferences via e-mail and ALA Connect. Express your interest in participating by contacting the chair of the group.
