The ALCTS Monographs Editorial Board consists of an odd number of members serving one-year terms and appointed and led by the Monographs Editor.

Origin

Established in 2006 at the request of the ALCTS Board of Directors. The Monographs Editorial Board is charged with supporting the series editor in acquiring and reviewing appropriate manuscripts for the series.

Get Involved

ALA values committed and active committee members. Qualified members are welcome to volunteer to serve on the ALCTS Monographs Editorial Board. Members must have an interest in the work of the group; be able to attend Annual Conferences and Midwinter Meetings to participate in the meetings and activities of the group; and be able to work between conferences via e-mail and ALA Connect. Express your interest in serving on this or other group by filling out an application form. Appointments take place once a year, during the spring. Service usually begins following Annual Conference, about July 1.
