Removing the Fence:
Merging Print and Electronic Serials Workflows

an ALCTS program
Saturday, June 28 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Anaheim, California

Workflows developed by libraries in support of electronic resources have often been ad hoc and separate from long-established print workflows. However, many of the administrative tasks relevant to the electronic are not easily separable from the print, and appropriate print-related workflows may already exist that can more efficiently support the electronic. This program examines the convergence of print and electronic workflows from the viewpoints of the subscription agent, the system provide, and the library.
