Forum on Emerging Research in Collection Development

The purpose of this forum is to nurture new authors by giving them an opportunity to present research and receive feedback as they prepare manuscripts for publication. Proposals for the forum were refereed by the ACLTS/CMS Publications Committee. The first presentation, by Douglas Jones, is entitled “Assessment of a Fully Integrated Patron Driven Access (PDA) Model to Provide English Language Books at the University of Arizona.” The second presentation, by Heather Hill, University of Western Ontario, and Jenny Bossaller, University of Missouri, is entitled “Breaking Out of the Silo: Public Library Use of Free Online Resources.”
