University of Toronto Libraries sought to empower public service staff to resolve simple eResource problems, removing the need to escalate many user problems to technical support. Attendees will learn how to design a training program that allows non-technical library staff to more confidently provide user support for electronic resources.
Following this session, participants will be able to: measure the level of understanding about electronic resources among public service staff, design an effective training program that allows public service staff to diagnose and resolve simple eResource queries.
