Preservation Week Events
Add your event to the Preservation Week Google map.
First: Do you have a Google account?
If No, go to www.google.com and create one. Then go to step 1.
If Yes, fo to www.google.com and login. Go to step 1.
- Go to the Preservation Week 2012 Events Map at http://bit.ly/preswkmap2012.
- In the left-hand column, select “Save to My Maps.”
- Edit option will now be available. Click Edit button.
- At the top of the screen above the map, enter the address of the location of your PW event.
- A pin will appear in the map according to the address you entered. Click on the pin so that the address bubble shows.
- Inside the bubble, select “Save to” and choose the PW 2012 map.
- In the left column, view the PW map by clicking its name at the bottom of the column. This will make all of the events on the map show in the left column. Your new event location will be at the bottom of the left column.
- Click on your event to activate the address bubble, where you can edit your event information. In the title field, put the title of your event. Move the address down into the body of the listing. Add links to your website and anything else you’d like.
- When you’re finished, scroll back to the top of the left-hand column and click the “Done” button.
