Kick-Off Ceremonies at Midwinter in Seattle
Saturday night, January 20, 2007 from 6-8 pm will be the kick-off celebration for the ALCTS 50th Anniversary Year. ALCTS President Bruce Johnson will be our master of ceremonies. In light of the proud commemoration of our past, Karen Schmidt will provide a fascinating historical "tour" of technical services equipment and processes.

ALCTS Symposium in Seattle
Please plan on attending the ALCTS Symposium, Definitely Digital: An Exploration of the Future of Knowledge, on Friday, January 19, 2007. Dr. James Hilton will be the key-note speaker for this one-day symposium.
ALCTS National Conference and 50th Celebration Dinner in Washington, D.C.
The ALCTS National Conference will be held in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday and Thursday, June 20 and 21, 2007 for a day and a half. On Thursday evening, we invite you all to attend a gala celebration dinner, celebrating our remarkable past, current successes, and vibrant future!

We are pleased to announce that Tschera Connell is preparing a paper analyzing LRTS content over the past fifty years.
