Jessica MacPhail, Racine WI Public LibraryThe 119th meeting of the EPC was convened on October 16-18, 2002, at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., by its chair, Andrea Stamm. Previous meetings occurred via teleconference, June 26, 2002 and July 22, 2002; another teleconference meeting occurred on November 6, 2002. At the October meeting, Lucy Evans was elected vice-chair of the committee by unanimous consent. Edition 22 is scheduled for publication in June 2003. All changes are now finalized. At this meeting EPC reviewed a long list of proposals and approved the following:
A pre-conference will be held Friday, June 20, 2003, during ALA Annual in Toronto, to present Edition 22 of Dewey. EPC is scheduled to meet again in Columbus, Ohio, for a planning retreat in early 2004. |
