This year Annual Conference takes us to Atlanta in the heart of the South. This is the second Annual Conference to group programs together into seven thematic tracks: administration and management; children and young adults; collection management; digital libraries; issues and updates; services and programs; and staff recruitment, development and management. The overall theme is “Rediscover America @ your library™.” Art critic and editor Robert Hughes will speak at the opening general session, and Barbara Ehrenreich at the closing session. The Saturday evening scholarship bash will feature the band Indigo Girls, and, of course, there will be programs, tours, exhibits, and much more.
