Interest Groups

In May 2003, the ALCTS Board of Directors and membership approved the addition of  Article XII and Article X Section 11 to the ALCTS Bylaws enabling the creation of Interest Groups within ALCTS.

Interest Groups have the ability to respond in a timely fashion to important issues identified at the grass-roots level, including programming and publication.

Procedures for establishing an interest group in ALCTS are now available.
