Intellectual Freedom Action News
The Intellectual Freedom Action News (formerly Memorandum) (ISSN 0734-3086) was published monthly by the American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom. IFAN ceased publication with the September/October/November 1999 issue. Links to past issues are found below.
The Intellectual Freedom Action Network needs volunteers. The Newsletter on Intellectual Freedom is an excellent source of information on intellectual freedom topics. It is the only journal that reports attempts to remove materials from school and library shelves across the country. Includes book reviews and an annual bibliography.
