Leading the Way: In the next year we will continue to celebrate YALSA's tradition of excellence as 2007 marks our fiftieth anniversary. I will work to ensure maximum commitment and engagement from our division's leaders and look for ways to increase partnership and sponsorship opportunities, both key elements for YALSA as we continue to both honor our past and to "lead the way" in advocating and supporting library services to all teens. I will also concentrate on supporting members in trying new and exciting activities and to think about library service in new ways, as demonstrated by the topic for my President's Program next year in Anaheim, which will focus on libraries as "third spaces."
