Function: To create a better understanding between publishers and librarians in the library's use of materials with teenagers, in order that such materials be supplied more effectively.
History: The name of this committee changed from Publishers' Relations to Publishers' Liaison at Midwinter, 1975. The committee agreed to administer the Book Wholesalers Inc./YALSA Collection Development Grant at 1995 Midwinter, which they did through 2005 when the BWI/YALSA Collection Development Grant Jury was created.
