    Some committees have appointments as an intern, which allows for an extra committee member. Interns are RUSA members who have never served on any RUSA committees. Would you be willing to serve as an intern for one year, with full committee membership and privileges if you cannot be appointed as a full member of a RSS Committee? Interns are eligible for appointment as full committee members, after their internship year.

  • Committee appointments are usually made following the Midwinter Meeting, so please be patient if you have filled out a form in the fall.
  • All committee appointments are made by the Vice Chair of the Reference Services Section.
  • Committee appointments will be completed by April.
