Task Force on Qualifications for Interlibrary Loan Operations Management

Charge:

• Study and make recommendations regarding the qualifications needed for managers of interlibrary loan and document delivery services.
• Recommend guidelines for hiring, training and maintaining the skills of interlibrary loan managers.
• Provide supporting documentation for libraries exploring and/or questioning the need for library professionals in interlibrary loan operations.
• The Task Force will report to the ALA/RUSA/STARS Executive Committee, in consultation with the ALA/RUSA/STARS ILL Committee.
