History Section Organization
The HS Executive Board oversees the various activities and functions of the section. The RUSA Rosters page has been set up to provide a centralized, dynamic access point to the ALA membership database. Use this link to find contact information about the executive board and all HS committees.
Committees
There are several committees in the History Section in addition to the Executive Committee. Committee interests range from collection development concerns to genealogy and local history. Members come from academic, public, archives and historical societies. To learn more about specific committee activities and interests, click on "Committees" which should appear to the left of the screen just above "Print this page."
Discussion Groups
The history section sponsors two informal discussion groups where members can share thoughts, experiences and concerns. They are the Genealogy & Local History Discussion Group and the History Librarians Discussion Group.
