The ALA Midwinter Meeting is convened for the primary purpose of expediting the business of the Association. At Midwinter, RUSA committees meet to work on their objectives, but there are also small group discussions and other opportunities for continuing education. Many award committees meet to vote on recipients. Of particular interest, CODES holds its annual reception where various readers' advisory lists are announced, including Notable Books, Outstanding Reference Sources, Dartmouth Medal, Louis Shores Award, and the Sophie Brody Award.
Use the menu items at left to find information on specific RUSA events. Also check under "Related Files" below for schedules and meeting information.
This year and going forward, we will also be using a Google Calendar to present up-to-date information on all RUSA events, including those at Midwinter. Use this button to add it to your Google Calendar account (more information) and remember to click forward to the dates for Midwinter 2008!
