<h2 align="center">Register for YALSA's Midwinter Gaming Extravaganza<br>

<p align="left"><font size="2">CHICAGO -Attendees at the American Library Association's (ALA) Midwinter Meeting can check out the latest and greatest in video, tabletop and role-playing games at the third annual Midwinter Gaming Extravaganza on Friday, Jan. 11, announced the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), the fastest-growing division of ALA. The Gaming Extravaganza is sponsored by YALSA's Teen Tech Week(tm) and Dungeons &amp; Dragons, the 2008 Teen Tech Week Corporate Sponsor. Games are being provided compliments of Game Crazy.<br>

The Gaming Extravaganza is also the official kickoff event for Teen Tech Week 2008, to be held March 2-8. Experienced gamers, beginners and everyone in between will find something new in the world of online, video, role-playing and tabletop games. Participants will:</font></p>

<ul>
<li><font size="2">Network with other young adult librarians over refreshments.</font></li>

<li><font size="2">See demonstrations and play video, role-playing and tabletop games currently popular with teens.</font></li>

<li><font size="2">Hear from teens about what's hot and what's not in gaming.</font></li>

<li><font size="2">Learn about machinima and how to get it started in your library.</font></li>

<li><font size="2">Vote on submissions in YALSA's first Create Your Own Avatar contest.</font></li>
</ul>
