  • Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times
    The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History is pleased to offer this new traveling exhibition. The exhibition, which incorporates letters, photographs, and images from Lincoln's presidency and Civil War soldiers and their families, is available to academic and public libraries only. If you are interested in hosting this exhibition, please apply by March 25, 2008. Questions about the exhibition may be directed to Susan Saidenberg at saidenberg@gilderlehrman.com. The institute's traveling exhibitions are FREE OF CHARGE, shipping included.
  • The Campaign for Love & Forgiveness
    "The Campaign for Love & Forgiveness" combines public television programming, community activities and events, and on-line discussions to encourage contemplation and conversation about how love and forgiveness can effect meaningful change in individuals and society.
  • Bill Moyers on PBS: Resources for Libraries
    This website supports PBS television series hosted by Bill Moyers. Discussion guides, classroom materials, extensive resource lists, and customizable flyers and e-postcards are provided.
  • On Our Own Terms: Moyers on Dying in America
    Learn about solutions for finding a better death and explore the options for humane care for the dying.

    An online customizable class tool kit is available with extensive promotion materials.

  • Peanuts at Bat
    Based heavily on Charles Schulz’s childhood experiences with sandlot baseball, the stories of the Peanuts baseball team are in turn whimsical, thoughtful, hilarious, and full of pathos. “Peanuts at Bat” takes a lighthearted look at Schulz’s love for the all-American sport and showcases the Peanuts Gang’s hapless pursuit of a winning baseball strategy.   • Inside Peanuts: The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz
    “Inside Peanuts: The Life and Art of Charles M. Schulz” celebrates the cartoonist’s extraordinary life and describes his creative process and artistic focus. This exhibition contains reproduction comic strips and preliminary sketches that follow the development of the characters who make up the unique world of Peanuts; quotes by Schulz explaining his art; and selected Peanuts collectibles from six decades.
