Torres, Angel. La leyenda del béisbol cubano, 1878-1996. 1996.
This volume offers a nicely presented year-by-year review on the Cuban baseball leagues from 1879 through 1996.  The focus of the work is on the legends of the game, with an abundance of biographical material on the stars of Cuban baseball during this time period.  The coverage includes both Cuban born players and other notable individuals who have played baseball on this island.  Photographs of many of the players are included with the text.

Vene, Juan. La historia de las series mundiales de béisbol. Editorial Agata, 1993.
This volume provides a two to three page review of every Major League World Series from 1903 through 1993.  Each section provides information about each Series and often includes a relevant photograph.  The introduction provides a nice history of pre-1900 baseball.  The final segments offer a list of World Series records, and a unique list of 120 Latinos who have played in the World Series.
