Welcome to the GLAD Program

The GLAD program was initiated as part of the re-structuring of IFLA's National Association Membership category, and is being managed by the Management of Library Associations Section (MLAS).

As part of its efforts to improve library associations around the world, IFLA, through the Management of Library Associations Section (MLAS), has created the Global Library Association Development (GLAD) Program. GLAD is designed to strengthen the individual skills and competencies of library association officers to operate library associations through a mentor-mentee program.
