Discussion Groups

Discussion groups are informal groups established for the discussion of “topics of common interest” during the ALA Annual Conference and Midwinter Meeting. In some divisions, forums fill a similar role, as do membership activity or interest groups.  Discussion groups and similar groups have been established by ALA divisions.  Electronic discussion lists provide an opportunity for ongoing discussion among members and others with shared interests.
