This guide aims to provide relevant information to assist academic libraries prepare the library services portion of the AACSB self-evaluation report.

AACSB International
AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. This is the web site of the accrediting body itself. Formerly named AACSB - The International Association for Management Education, and prior to that, the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business.

The section titled, Instructional Resources and Reponsibilities, refers to library resources and services in part IN.1 and in the Guidance for Self-Evaluation Report - Instructional Resources and Responsibilities.
The newest AACSB standards were released on February 14, 2001, but the written standards that relate to libraries have not changed from the 1994 release.
- Also, AACSB has a copy of the current standards available on its web site. You may also find a complete copy of the standards with one of your business school administrators.

Self-Evaluation Examples
The documents listed here are recent submissions from libraries that have participated in the AACSB self-evaluation process. Ultimately, the business school submits the entire self-evaluation report, in which the library plays a small part, to the AACSB for review.
