No/low conflict times: Annual: Saturday 5:30-7:30 Opening General Session, Monday 1:30-3:30 RUSA President’s Program and 4-6 RUSA Awards Reception; Midwinter: Sunday, 1:30-3:30pm and Monday, 10:30am-12:30pm

The following Committees conduct their business virtually; they do not meet on-site at conference: all Awards, Nominating, and Vendor Relations Committee.
The first meeting of a program committee [its first Midwinter Saturday meeting] will be TWO hours, because at the very beginning, that much time is needed for brainstorming and structuring. A Program Committee may cancel its Sunday meeting - whether at Midwinter or Annual - if it completes its work for that conference at its Saturday meeting.
BRASS Program: Sponsored-breakfast starts at 8:00, 8:45 business meeting, BRASS program begins at 9:00.
The Academic and the Public Libraries Committees may choose to do a forum but are not required to present one. If they do, Academic Forums will be in even years (2002, 2004, etc.); Public Forums in odd years (2003, 2005, etc.). The Business meeting at Annual begins after the forum. Request that forum and both business meetings be scheduled in the same hotel.
