CURRENT ACTIVITIES:

Annual 08, we put on the Social Software Showcase: http://yourbigwig.com/showcase.

We also continue to recruit volunteers, advertise, and manage the LITA Blog.

Lastly, we set up http://yourbigwig.com as an "sandbox" for Web 2.0 activities and experiments.

FUTURE ACTIVITIES:

We are again putting on a program at Annual in Chicago - the 3rd Annual "Social Software Showcase."

We are also collaborating with CLENE on their CLENERT program at the upcoming Annual. BIGWIG will have a table demonstrating a particular technology or toolset - and offering discussion opportunities.

We also discussed putting together some basic instructional materials on things like podcasting, etc. - that could be used by others in ALA or LITA.
