Scanning the Future @ Your Library

Toss that crystal ball and start systematically exploring the future! Get acquainted with forecasting techniques such as scenario building and tools including the OCLC Environmental Scan to inform visioning, planning, and budgeting. Participants will submit real challenges facing their libraries in an interactive, collaborative forum. Panelists will then model futuring methodologies for identifying and capitalizing on technological, demographic, and service trends. When you know what might happen, you can choose what to make happen.
