ALTAFF Member Benefits
All members and affiliates of ALTAFF receive and access to online members only resources as well as discounts on division publications. Members of ALTAFF sections also receive discounts on tickets to ALTAFF ticketed programs and events at ALA conferences and meetings. Benefits vary slightly by section and only members of a specific section may serve on that section's committees or represent the section as a board member of ALTAFF.
All members and affiliates receive ALTAFF's bi-monthly newsletter, The Voice. This publication features 24 pages of articles, tips, and ideas from Friends, Trustees, and Foundations across the country. Trustee Section - Members of this section will also receive access to the Trustee Zone, an online members only area of the ALTAFF website with in-depth toolkits and other resources designed specifically for Trustees (coming soon). In addition, members of the Trustee section may serve on division committees, Trustee section committees, and may hold a position on the ALTAFF board as a designated representative of the Trustee section.
Friends Section - Members of this section also receive access to the Friends & Foundations Zone, an online members only area of the ALTAFF webiste with in-depth toolkits, special offers and discounts, and other resources specifically designed for Friends and Foundations. In addition, members of the Friends section may serve on division committees, Friends section committees, and may hold a position on the ALTAFF board as a designated representative of the Friends section.
