Reserve a table at the 2009 Newbery Caldecott Wilder Banquet!
Did you know that reserved table seating is an option for anyone attending the Newbery Caldecott Wilder Banquet, as long as you purchase a whole table at once? Simply recruit ten of your friends or colleagues and purchase a table for $940 ($94 per ticket). Here’s how:

Table reservations must be done through the ALSC office, not ALA Registration or Conference Services.

Just mail, fax, or email a simple cover letter to Aimee Strittmatter, ALSC Executive Director (ALSC, 50 E. Huron St., Chicago, IL 60611, astrittmatter@ala.org; fax 312-280-5271), requesting a table for the Newbery Caldecott Wilder Banquet and include your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. -
Include your check made out to the Association for Library Service to Children. Please write, "invoice # ALSCNCW2009" in the memo field.

We can also accept credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express) by fax or email. Please provide the name on the card, card number, and expiration date, phone number, and provide a mailing address to send the tickets.

In July, the ALSC office will send you all ten of your tickets with the table number written on them. You can then distribute the tickets to your table guests.

All table orders will be acknowledged upon receipt. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please call the ALSC office at 312-280-2162.

June 5, 2009 is the deadline to reserve a table. The office must have your payment by this date.
Please note, this information is for table reservations only, the office does not handle individual ticket requests. If you wish to order one or more individual tickets, you may do so via regular conference registration at http://www.ala.org/ala/conferencesevents/upcoming/annual/2009/registration.cfm
Individually purchased tickets are for open seating only.
Table orders will be accepted through June 5, 2009. After June 5,
pending availability, individual ticket sales will continue to be sold through conference registration
