Building a Home Library
Bibliographies

The ALA-Children’s Book Council (CBC) Joint Committee, with cooperation from the ALSC’s Quicklists Consulting Committee, has created the four bibliographies below, "Building a Home Library," to provide guidance to parents, grandparents, and others interested in assembling a high-quality library for their children at home.

Librarians, educators, and others who work with families are encouraged to download and print these brochures and share them with parents, grandparents, and caregivers in their community.

To download any of these brochures to your computer, right (mouse) click on the link to the version you'd like to capture and select "save target as," "save the target file," "save link as," "save link target as," or other similarly worded option. This should allow you to save a copy to your computer.
