Notable Seal

2002 Notable Computer Software for Children Committee: Leslie Molnar, Chair, Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Public Library; Julie Cohen, Berkshire Country Day School, Lenox, Mass.; Yapha Mason, Brentwood School, Los Angeles; Barbara Scotto, Brookline (Mass.) Public Schools; Carin Steger, Lawnton Elementary School, Harrisburg, Pa.; Jamie Lynn Watson, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Baltimore; and Bina Williams, Bridgeport (Conn.) Public Library.

These titles are selected by the above committee of librarians and educators from across the country on the basis of their originality, creativity, and suitability for young children. The members select materials that respect both children's intelligence and imagination, exhibit venturesome creativity, and encourage the interests of users.
