Martha Whittaker Appointed to New Marketing Position on LRTS Board

Peggy Johnson, editor of Library Resources & Technical Services ( LRTS), and the LRTS Editorial Board are delighted to announce the appointment of Martha Whittaker to a new Board position that will work with Christine Taylor in the ALCTS Office on marketing LRTS to potential advertisers. Martha is head of technical services at Gelman Library at George Washington University, and previously held marketing positions at Serials Solutions, Blackwell's Book Services, and Academic Book Center.

Qiang Jin Nominated to IFLA Cataloging Section Standing Committee

Qiang Jin, Senior Coordinating Cataloger, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and Chair-elect of the ALCTS Cataloging and Classification Section, has been nominated to the IFLA Cataloging Section Standing Committee for the term of 2009–2013. Congratulations to Qiang!
