New Paper Series Editor Appointed

The ALCTS Board of Directors has appointed Anne Sleeman as the new ALCTS Paper Series Editor. She succeeds ALCTS President-Elect Pamela Bluh, and will assume her responsibilities immediately. The theme-oriented series publishes papers from ALCTS’ continuing education offerings and conference programs as well as from other appropriate groups. Ms. Sleeman will work with the newly created Paper Series Editorial Board to solicit these and supplementary manuscripts for volumes.

Ms. Sleeman worked in technical services positions for thirteen years in Detroit, MI and Baltimore, MD. She was employed most recently as the Assistant Director for Resources Management at the University of Maryland Health Sciences and Human Services Library. Ms. Sleeman chaired the Medical Library Association’s Books Panel during her tenure at the Health Sciences and Human Services Library. The Panel is responsible for soliciting and shepherding monographs published by the Medical Library Association. She brings experience with authors and the publication process to this position.

Ms. Sleeman has assumed responsibility for ALCTS projects currently in progress, and is eager to hear from planners of future preconferences, institutes, workshops, and programs who are interested in publishing their content. Contact Anne at SLEE1158@aol.com or (410) 583-5835.
