ALCTS Selects Emerging Leaders

Bonnie Tijerina

Bonnie Tijerina, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Keri Cascio, Missouri Library Network, have been chosen for the ALCTS Travel Sponsorship for ALA President Leslie Burger's Emerging Leaders Program. They will receive $500 each for each ALA conference in 2007, for a total of $1,000. Congratulations to Bonnie and Keri!

Bonnie is the Electronic Resources Coordinator in the Collection Development Department at Georgia Institute of Technology's Library & Information Center. She earned her MLS from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and began her career as a North Carolina State University Libraries Fellow. She is the coordinator of the Electronic Resources & Libraries (ER&L) Conference, a forum for information professionals to explore ideas, trends, and technologies related to electronic resources and digital services.

Keri has been a Librarian/Trainer at the Missouri Library Network (MLNC) since 2004. She teaches workshops on cataloging, interlibrary loan, reference, and technology topics, and provides technical support for OCLC systems to MLNC member libraries. Keri holds an MLS from the University of Missouri - Columbia and an MA in German Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
