ALCTS Staff Member Julie Reese Receives Certification

We are very pleased to announce that Julie Reese, our division's events manager extraordinaire, recently was awarded the CMP designation. CMP stands for "Certified Meeting Professional". This certification, established in 1985, is granted by the Convention Industry Council (CIC) and is endorsed by the 31 organizations within the meetings industry, which comprise the Council ( www.conventionindustry.org).

The CMP is conferred to a meeting planner "for having met the high standards of proficiency in meeting management as demonstrated by substantial professional experience and superior examination performance."
