To provide a forum for the exchange of ideas among those persons working with or interested in electronic resources; to promote the acquisition and access of electronic resources collections; to strengthen communication and cooperation among persons working with electronic resources collections; and to contribute to the improvement of education and training of electronic resource archivists and librarians.Roster

The group was a division-wide ALCTS standing committee that adopted the ALCTS interest group structure. An interest group maintains the committee's ability to produce programs and publications and combines that with the minimal structure and open forum concepts of a discussion group. Interest groups, which design their own structure to best fit their needs, may have a chair and other officers.Get Involved
ALA values committed and active committee members. Qualified members are welcome to volunteer to serve on [insert committee name here]. Committee members must have an interest in the work of the committee; be able to attend Annual Conferences and Midwinter Meetings to participate in the meetings and activities of the committee; and be able to work between conferences via e-mail and ALA Connect. Express your interest in serving on this or other committees by filling out an application form. Appointments take place once a year, during the spring.
