CCS Policy and Planning Committee
Charge: To consider and recommend to the CCS Executive Committee policies relevant to the Cataloging and Classification Section; to consider cataloging and classification issues as a whole , including long-range section goals and objectives, and identify and recommend to the Executive Committee new activities to be undertaken by the Section. To review CCS committee and discussion group charges and roles on a regular basis and make recommendations to the CCS Executive Committee on potential changes. To coordinate the work of the Policy and Planning Committee with the ALCTS Planning Committee. To plan and monitor activities using the Association's Strategic and Tactical Plan as a framework.
