IV. Old Business

Jane Gilchrist reported that the AASL program on "How Children Search" was cancelled due to the fact that the program was to be restricted to one hour and also due to a death in the speaker's family. She said that the Committee needs to write letters to those who had volunteered to serve as speakers to thank them for their work toward the program. The next conference will be in 2003. The Committee may want a presence at the conference. The Committee may also need to contact AASL's Executive Board to suggest that they form a Technical Services Committee. Perhaps consider a pre-conference on cataloging. The Committee agreed to send the letters as recommended by Gilchrist.
