Develops and reviews publications by identifying appropriate topics for new publications (including the Acquisition Guides Series). - Research and Statistics
Identifes needed research in acquisitions among other goals. - Technology
Identifies technology trends, especially those that related to acquisition activities, and disseminate this information via an annual conference program and other communication avenues. - Nominating
Nominates candidates for elective offices of the section. - Policy and Planning
Coordinates the policy and planning activities of the Acquisition Section. - Organization and Management
Promotes the development and practice of effective techniques and sound ethical, fiscal, and legal policies and procedures in acquisitions management.
