Charge: To identify needed research in acquisitions; to explore, develop, and promote a research agenda that focuses on the research needs of the section; to develop programs and activities to encourage the development of research and statistics skills among acquisitions librarians; to coordinate the activities of the section in the field of research and statistics; and to maintain liaisons with appropriate units of the section, division, and association regarding research and statistics activities.
