    Disasters, by Claudene Sproles, a government documents reference librarian at Ekstrom Library, University of Louisville.

Natural disasters are natural hazards that cause human suffering. Sproles has gathered sources about such disasters, in the process exploring issues ranging from causes to mitigation.

    & Forthcoming Titles in Women's Studies, 2009. Regularly appearing each year in the March issue, this selected list provides information on new titles of potential relevance for academic libraries. This year's list offers titles from fifty-three publishers.
