 Eco-friendly Hotel Practices

ACRL is pleased to share the eco-friendly practices of the official 14th National Conference hotels. See what your hotel is doing to make your stay more sustainable. We encourage all attendees to do their part by participating in sheet/towel reuse programs, recycling and energy/water conservation whenever possible. Thank you for participating!

Yes.  Recycle bins in guestrooms.  Hotel separates and recycles all paper products and glass from all waste bins.

Surplus food donated to local food banks.  Other food wastes are recycled.

Hotel is working toward becoming LEEDS certified Green Building.  Laundry uses Ozone system, reducing energy and chemical usage.

Recycle bins in lobby.  Hotel departments recycle cardboard and paper.

Fluorescent lighting used in hallways.

Surplus food from restaurant donated to local food banks.

Recycled copy paper used by front desk and exec.offices.  Housekeeping uses special cleaning cloths to reduce chemicals use.  Laundry uses product to reduce water, chemicals and electricity usage.
