Write for CJCLS

The Community and Junior College Library Section of ACRL (CJCLS) is looking for authors.

Publications can range from a how to manual, to the results of a problem or research project to a survey or full fledge book. The important thing is that many of your collegues may have questions on things you have already done--why not share how you accomplished an activity to better serve your students, faculty of library staff. The CJCLS web site is evident that each of you have experienced and addressed an issue in a manner different from your colleagues and some are still searching for answers.

Convert your thesis, dissertation, grant proposal, or survey conducted on the listserv to the a publication which will be of use to your colleagues and their respective college community. Research proposal are also acceptable.

There are no deadlines for the Research and Publications Committee to accept applications, we would like to review a few in January at the ALA Mid Winter conference in Boston. Give us an activity to keep us warm and inside.

Complete the ACRL/CJCLS Publication Proposal form [Word Format] and mail to Carolyn F. Norman, Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges 1102 Q Street Sacramento, Ca. 95814. If you have questions, you may contact Carolyn Norman at (916)445-0837.
