AASL Information Power Action Research Project Manual

Welcome to the AASL Information Power Action Research Project, sponsored by the American Association of School Librarians Research and Statistics Committee and funded by a grant from World Book.

Purpose

To assist building-level library media specialists to collect data supporting the premise that school library programs contribute to academic achievement. (read the background)

Implementation

At least nine schools from elementary through secondary in each state are encouraged to participate this action research project. Other schools may use the instrumentation even if they are not included in the formal study.
